(Totally forgot to post this earlier – I was away for most of October, so not many movies screened this month)
Gone Girl— I’ve read the book, so I knew the “twist” was coming, but I still really enjoyed this film. David Fincher creates an air of paranoia and suspicion, coupled with two very messed up central characters – it’s a long film, but engaging.
The Little Death – Australian film about sexual fantasies, but not crude or provocative. A bit of fun, and a well made local production, but overall not a film that will last in my memories.
